    Alchembly AI Firewall — Personal Edition runs on your own Mac in front of Claude Code. Secrets and personal data in your prompts are replaced with placeholders before anything reaches Anthropic, and restored in Claude's replies — so nothing sensitive leaves your machine.

    ⚠️ This build is unsigned and not notarised. macOS will block it the first time you open it. That's expected for this early release; a signed build will follow.

    Install

    1. Download PersonalEdition-v0.1.5-personal-UNSIGNED-NOT-NOTARIZED-macos-universal.dmg below.
    2. Optional — verify it. In Terminal: shasum -a 256 PersonalEdition-v0.1.5-personal-UNSIGNED-NOT-NOTARIZED-macos-universal.dmg should print

    3. Open the DMG and drag LLM Firewall to Applications.
    4. Open it. When macOS blocks it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. (On macOS 15 and later, right-click → Open no longer works.)
    5. It's a menu-bar app — there's no Dock icon or window. Click its icon in the menu bar and choose Connect Claude Code.

    Requirements

    • macOS on Apple Silicon or Intel (universal build)
    • Claude Code, with a Claude subscription or an Anthropic API key

    Known limitations in 0.1.5

    • Unsigned: installs via Open Anyway (above).
    • The dashboard may show a red "Error" when Claude Code has been idle for a few seconds, and lock its controls — a fix is in progress.
    • No automatic updates yet — check this page for new versions.
